Vlog: AQ Weekend, Pokémon, and the musical stylings of Onye
During the first playing of Georgia On My Mind at DCI Finals, it was actually the kindly Dragonite who joined the Spirit of Atlanta hornline in the harmonious rapture that echoed all through downtown Indianapolis. Donning his crunk shades and wielding a baby blue mellophone, he used his Dragon-Pokemon magic to power the corps into winning the hearts of all those who were around to hear (as if they didn’t have them already). Once the song was done, the corps and staff thanked Dragonite for joining them in the beautiful tradition, to which he responded “Ustedes son los maestros de su destino, que son los capitanesde sus almas. Vaya patada en el culo.” And with that, he flew away with his horn as the corps headed towards the buses to Lucas Oil Stadium, promising to return again next year.
If you don’t find this ingenious, you suck.
